Job Summary:
As a Fund Services Reconciliation - Team Leader within JPMorgan Corporate and Investment Bank, you manage income-related discrepancies and validate pay down, interest, and dividend breaks in reconciliation. You ensure daily controls, client service inquiries, and key metrics are completed and signed off within timelines. You own and escalate issues, assist in governance, and promote a culture of risk management and compliance.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage income-related breaks and discrepancies
- Investigate and validate pay down, interest, and dividend breaks
- Process and validate income adjustments
- Ensure completion and sign-off of daily controls and client service inquiries
- Oversee cash and stock break management and event management
- Produce key metrics within required timelines
- Own and escalate issues to operational and risk leads
- Review and update Standard Operating Procedures
- Assist managers in implementing governance and supervisory controls
- Promote early and timely escalation of operational incidents
- Organize risk review meetings and oversee key sign-off points
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Hold B Com, CA, or MBA with 4+ years in fund service reconciliation or investment banking
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of financial instruments and fund accounting
- Exhibit effective investigation and query resolution skills
- Operate with high attention to detail and deadline focus
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbal
- Collaborate as a supportive team player
- Apply operational expertise in reconciliation and investment banking products
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Display experience in reconciliation and transaction comparison
- Manage client service interactions within financial services
- Drive team energy and enthusiasm
- Evidence ability to resolve differences in positions and transactions
- Liaise effectively with multiple internal groups
- Operate with integrity and open communication
- Support product development across MBS, ABS, and FX products
