As the Financial Analysis - Vice President within the Global Private Bank Banking Finance team, you will be responsible for defining, refining, and achieving the firm's objectives on a daily basis. You will offer financial analytical and reporting services, which include budgeting and forecasting, weekly and monthly business performance analysis, expense management, regulatory reporting, and strategic planning. You will collaborate closely with the Global Private Bank Regional & Product Chief Financial Officer teams and support the Asset and Wealth Management Marketing Chief Financial Officer, as well as handle ad hoc requests from the Asset Wealth Management Chief Financial Officer/Planning & Analysis team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting the headcount and expenses for the Global Private Bank business. The key responsibilities include:
  • Lead the HC & Expense COE team
  • Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible.
  • Work with various Essbase add-ins and reporting databases to manage reporting changes.
  • Contribute ideas around improving reporting capabilities and new projects
  • Help design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management
  • Partner with the CFO/ CEO for headcount & expense management
  • Drive headcount & expense initiatives eg. location strategy
  • Manage the monthly forecast and annual budget cycle
  • Partner with the CFO/ CEO in reorganization of functions which includes cost center management and historical restatements
  • Present the key business findings and highlighting the risks & opportunities to the senior management
  • Be able to work with multiple groups across the organization

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum of CA or an MBA in Finance is required
  • Prior People management responsibility is required
  • Excellent at managing multiple stakeholders at a time
  • Excellent organizational, management, both verbal & written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Positive attitude and demonstrate intellectual curiosity
  • The ability to comprehend and clearly communicate complex concepts and maintain composure in a large group setting with multiple stakeholders
  • Sound judgment, professional maturity and personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidate must be comfortable with frequently changing priorities
  • Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 10+ years of Finance experience, preferably in Financial Services industry & Headcount and Expense Experience
  • Experience in Tableau, Python and Alteryx will be a plus
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, preferably with experience of Hyperion Essbase and Databricks.
  • Integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information. Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams.
  • Ability to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentation and recommendations. Detail oriented individual with the ability to work well under pressure, handling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Team oriented, inquisitive, critical thinker who anticipates questions from internal clients and senior management
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues, desire to learn quickly, be flexible and think strategically
