As a Financial Analysis- Associate within the Business Banking team under Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), you will produce Field performance review materials and decks for senior business management leads. You will provide commentary and insights on business performance, support multiple ad hoc requests, and play a key role in developing new reporting decks. You will also challenge the status quo by identifying process improvement opportunities and promote automation and simplification of processes using strategic tools like Tableau and Alteryx. Your role will involve effective stakeholder management and enhancing controls in collaboration with central teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Produce Field performance review materials and decks to an audience that includes senior business management leads, Business Leaders heading various levels within the Branch network hierarchy. The reports contain updates / trends of headcount, performance metrics and financial numbers with comparisons to Budgets, targets and previous year trends.

• Provide commentary and insights on business performance facilitating discussions on exceptions in trends and other focus areas and bringing the same to management attention.

• Play a key role in conceptualizing and developing new reporting decks for tracking and driving performance around various field initiatives.

• Support multiple ad hoc requests from the Business and Senior Management in line with their expectations. The adhocs range from understanding and commenting on trends in performance to deep dives that help provide insights to business about field performance including progress on key strategic initiatives.

• Challenge status quo and identify process improvement opportunities.

• Constantly look at opportunities to drive automation and simplification of processes leveraging strategic tools of the firm (Tableau, Alteryx etc)

• Effective stakeholder management through understanding expectations of various US leads and ensuring we meet and exceed expectations in our delivery.

• Enhancing controls and collaborate with central teams in monitoring and fine tuning data in the data infrastructure

• Handle adhoc requests relating to field performance trends, strategic initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• CA/MBA (Finance) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience with specialized experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Finance, Field Performance reporting

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and partnering skills

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and able to work on large data volume

• Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment

• Ability to research issues/problems and provide a 'solution-based' approach

• Adaptable to change and ambiguity in the work environment

• Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (i.e. use of pivot tables, macros, arrays, etc)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Strong knowledge of SQL is highly preferred

• Knowledge of Data Visualization tools like Tableau or Analytical tools like Alteryx is preferred
