Finance Product and Transformation - Product Portfolio Operations Director

As a Product Portfolio Operations Director, within our Finance Product and Transformation organization, you will oversee portfolio operations and reporting, reporting directly to the Head of Product and also managing portfolio priorities, decisions, communications, and tooling training for 2,000 Consumer Bank Finance employees.

Job responsibilities:

  • Monitor portfolio health using key metrics and data by scaling best practices and standards, while managing project timelines, impacts, and risks ensuring timely escalations to executives and deliverables.
  • Develop and implement tooling training and adoption strategy for 2,000 Consumer Finance employees, collaborating with communications and portfolio leadership.
  • Create emails, videos, intranet and confluence content by working with the communications department and portfolio leadership to support the product, technology, design, and data plans, tooling adoption, and strategy to users and stakeholders
  • Prioritize initiatives and facilitate internal investment discussions, clearly presenting congress tradeoff discussions and laying out choices and benefits for one strategy over another
  • Lead and mentor teams of PPO's and Training, ensuring high quality deliverables and supporting Finance product areas during peak times, at the same time, managing a global team of 6 while also supporting the success and independent challenge of the Consumer Finance Agility and Process function
  • Enhance portfolio cabinet efficiency across Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Controls and other supporting functions and support PXT-wide OKR's and initiatives.
  • Benchmark Finance against industry best practices and present priorities, roadmaps, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 10+ years of professional work experience; 5+ years in leading a team
  • Experience with cross-product initiatives in complex and matrix environments
  • Background in Data or Product Management
  • Proficiency \"hands on\" in SQL or Python
  • Strong understanding of Agility standards and Jira expertise
