Reporting into one of the senior Markets Operations business managers, the role will be primarily aligned to Global Markets Operations Digital Client Services (DCS) and Operations Control Management (OCM). The role will also support various initiatives across the wider Markets Operations organization as needed. Besides Operations, the role will involve interaction with key stakeholders across Technology, Data Analytics, Finance and Human Resources.
Global Markets Operations is part of Digital & Platform Services (DPS) within the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB).
The role of a business manager is dynamic and can vary from business to business, in line with the priorities of the different lines of business. We act as trusted advisors and counterweight to Business/Group Heads, and partner with Operations to optimize business performance and meet financial targets by helping drive key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Global Markets Operations and the wider D&PS F&BM community
- Coordinate and prepare executive-level presentations and analysis, comprising of financial, non-financial and technical content
- Assist in the communication of overall strategic agenda and achievements. Pro-actively highlight issues and risks to the objectives, help derive solutions and drive remedies to completion
- Work with key stakeholders to identify solutions to a wide array of opportunities and challenges
- Support cross-product / divisional initiatives, ensuring consistency in approach across technology teams and functions
- Assist in the preparation of workforce analytics such as functional taxonomies, locational views, span & layer reviews and support unit costing / industry cost per trade studies
- In partnership with Finance partners, develop financial and non-financial report standards in order to enhance transparency and accuracy of reporting to key stakeholders. Review expenses and identify potential reductions in the cost base to streamline business processes and improve profitability
- As part of a high-performance team adding value to the greater team, drive automation of tasks and processes within the Business Management function
