The Experimentation & Testing team is the "go-to" team to elevate our overall Card in-market testing agenda across the arm of Planning & Activation within Card Marketing Activation & Transformation (CMAT). It is a small, nimble, and influential team of problem solvers focused enabling the right profitable marketing. Experimentation & Testing supports our collective test & learn agenda across our Acquisitions and Existing Customer campaigns, coordinates the impacted parties, elevates our learnings, and shares best practices. Focus remains on Premium, Pricing, Creative, and Functionality in-market testing. The team is comprised of critical resources that are unafraid to ensure all of our in market experimentation across Acquisitions & Existing Customer Marketing offer meet the three V's (Valid, Valuable, and Viable).

The Experimentation & Testing team Sr. Assoc. will lead testing design efforts across Card, communicate the outcomes of experimentation to share best practices (as appropriate), and expand result reads to include additional metrics (i.e. Tier shift). They will be the connective tissues between our Business Units (Card Product owners) / Marketing Growth & Innovation (MG&I) as well as our execution teams. Extend our learnings to other Chase lines of business as well as learning from their testing agenda.
Responsibilities:
- Be the dedicated team to define the overall testing roadmap across Acquisitions & Existing Card Marketing
- Continue partnering with Chase Data Science Team, Data & Analytics, Channel, Card Marketing & Experience, Brand and Cobrand teams
- Extend our testing library and the utilization across products to help drive learnings. Drive efficiency with our product teams as they can use previous learnings to know what to implement or avoid.
- Ensure through our test vetting process that all tests meet our requirements (valid, viable, and valuable)
- Drive our results to obtain the goals we have set out in our OKRs (incremental accounts and NPV)
- Ensure tests are read on time 90% of the time based on agreement with Data & Analytics
- Elevate collaboration and institutional knowledge
- Communicate to our Business Units Partners, our quarterly scorecard, specific/general learnings, and collective roadmap
- Enhance our learning agenda based on internal/external best practices
- Incorporate new testing ability based on software application capabilities across our platforms to enhance our testing ability with more variants and quicker reads
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Be the voice - own communications (e.g. test vetting outcome, metrics tracking) on executed testing needs across all levels of the organization (senior leaders within MG&I and across our Business Units)
- Be a strategic leader - tell us where the organization needs to go; develop strategies to evolve our organization.
- Partner with business requestors to ensure their testing is well thought out and can be read in a timely fashion. Have the strength to stand by decision for invalid tests and ensure background is documented
- Be the go-to resource/team to assist with any requested testing across Card to help ensure we are executing on the right profitable marketing
- Lead the improvement of our testing repository and driving the automation and metrics around our Test & Learn agenda
- End to end testing delivery experience - including understanding of best practices, tools, and processes
- Demonstrated initiative and creativity to ensure successful and timely execution - strategic thinker with proven abilities
- Bachelor's degree required
- Excellent communication and presentation skills along with strong interpersonal skills at both verbal and writing communication
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
- Understanding of campaign marketing KPI's and performance drivers
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience (leading in-market testing and experimentation, project management, strategic planning, data & analytics)
- Prior experience working credit card marketing strongly preferred
- Ability to 'connect the dots' across a number of ongoing initiatives and proactively anticipate upcoming deliverables
- Possess a customer-obsessed mindset with ability to creatively turn insights into action and delivery of impactful customer marketing
- Think broadly and analytically to support new approaches to business improvements through the lens of testing & experimentation
