Job responsibilities

  • Solve problems. Concept and execute elegant design solutions, that respond to both user needs and business goals.
  • Conduct discovery and user research. Synthesize insights, document and communicate findings, and iterate designs based on feedback.
  • Create click-through prototypes, presentations, and storyboards to showcase product vision and get buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Apply strong knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, and data-driven analysis to create user-centric designs that enhance navigation, findability, and overall user satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of designers, product managers, engineers, researchers, subject matter experts, copywriters, legal, and executive leaders.
  • Leverage and inform a firmwide design system, ensuring consistency across multiple products and platforms while adhering to industry best practices.
  • Incorporate inclusive design principles and accessibility guidelines to ensure our products and services cater to a diverse range of users.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, user behaviours, and Figma capabilities, to inform design decisions and work efficiently.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 4+ years of experience in design or equivalent role dedicated to improving experiences with digital products and services
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in User Experience (UX) Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Service Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related fields
  • Experience in the application of design systems such as Google's Material Design
  • Proven ability to create visually appealing and functional designs using industry-standard tools (e.g. Figma)
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing user experiences across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and other digital channels
  • Previous experience interpreting complex data and transforming it into actionable insights for informed decision-making
  • Familiarity of inclusive design principles, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technologies, with a history of creating accessible and inclusive digital experiences
