Executive Director - Correspondent Business Strategy

As an Executive Director in the Correspondent Business Strategy Team, you will oversee strategic initiatives that advance the success of our Correspondent Channel. You will partner across product, operations, and sales teams to deliver solutions that meet both immediate and long-term objectives. In this role, you'll foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability, ensuring our business remains competitive and effective.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute high-impact strategic initiatives for the Correspondent Channel
  • Develop and implement practical solutions that address business needs
  • Partner with product, business, operations, client management, and finance teams to deliver objectives
  • Collaborate with transformation, technology, and business stakeholders to champion change
  • Create and manage project plans with clear dependencies, timelines, and milestones
  • Establish, track and report on business objectives (OKRs) to ensure ongoing success
  • Provide subject matter expertise to vendor, technology, UAT, and product teams
  • Analyze competitive landscape and leveraging insights to shape business decisions
  • Ensure transparency through effective executive presentations and escalation protocols
  • Develop and manage controls to ensure program accuracy and compliance

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting, internal financial services strategy, organizational effectiveness
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently break down complex or ambiguous business challenges into structured analysis and recommendations
  • Background in financial services strategy and business execution
  • Strong demonstrated ability withy conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Strong demonstrated ability to navigate and influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Strong analytical skillset, including ability to utilize diverse set of tools to evaluate large volume of data for insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, executive communication and synthesis
  • Minimum intermediate skill level with MS PowerPoint and Excel

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Correspondent Business experience preferred
  • Financial Services experience required; Mortgage Industry and specifically Correspondent preferred
