As an Executive Director, Card Networks Strategic Relationship Manager on the Consumer & Community Bank's Card Network Initiatives team, you will own the consumer bank's relationship with Visa & Mastercard and deliver strategies to maximize the value of these partnerships. You will work closely with the Strategy, Corporate Development, Product and Tech teams serving as the key point of contact with the networks. You will work directly with senior leadership managing projects cross-functionally. Job responsibilities:
- Manage strategic initiatives with the card networks, including new product implementation, deal support, joint marketing initiatives, and tech enhancements
- Serve as the "card network hub" owner, collaborating cross-functionally with Corp Dev, Strategy, Product, and Tech teams
- Operate as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and senior leaders, bringing together perspectives from several business units and engaging stakeholders at every level
- Build and maintain relationships with Card Network senior executives to advance the overall Chase relationship
- Identify and implement new revenue generating partnership opportunities for the card business
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to foster collaboration and drive strategic alignment across teams
- Support the development of marketing and communication strategies to promote strategic initiatives and partnerships
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Undergraduate degree required
- Deep understanding of the payment ecosystem, with specific focus on card networks
- 10+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, business operations, corporate strategy or related field with a focus on the payments ecosystem and card networks
- Proven ability to lead and influence across complex, matrix organizations, fostering collaboration and building confidence with peers
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Highly adaptable with an ability to multi-task, prioritize and escalate appropriately in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills - the ability to convey complex information simply and clearly to senior business leaders
