As an Area Product Owner on the Chase Branded Card Mass Affluent Product team, you will develop strong functional business knowledge and technical understanding of the segment's family of products, technology platforms, operations, and servicing strategies to drive the delivery of technology solutions. You will contribute to setting the product vision for Chase's credit card offering for the Mass Affluent segment and form strong cross-functional relationships to deliver superior products to our customers.
You will be responsible for guiding a team of Product Managers and Analysts through discovery, design, and the successful delivery of initiatives. You will also ensure existing products in this segment are optimized in our agile environment. You will work closely with Risk, Finance, Analytics, Data, and counterparts in Product.

Job Responsibilities:
- Deeply understand the Mass Affluent customer and help guide Chase Card Services' value proposition for the segment.
- Uncover customer insights and opportunities, define customer problems, convert them into problem statements, and provide out of the box product solutions through design thinking.
- Develop and refine a book of work grounded in customer outcomes and key business objectives.
- Own new features end-to-end from ideation to implementation, and through maintenance.
- Lead and grow a team of Product Managers and Product Analysts through the product development life cycle.
- Drive deep relationships with data, design, and engineering teams to conduct discovery and refine the team's agile development methodology, grounded in ongoing customer feedback.
- Set the standard for writing initiatives, user stories, and acceptance criteria and drive effective product road mapping and sprint planning.
- Lead and collaborate with other product teams and tech leads to understand the Chase Card Services technology roadmap.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 7+ years of proven product experience, including defining user experience needs, identifying go-to-market opportunities, and delivering net new offerings.
- Direct experience leading an agile team (directly aligned to a product) and expertise with agile practices. Experience working in Jira and Confluence.
- Passion for online and mobile technology, and knowledge of industry trends and influential companies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to present facts, thoughts, and ideas in a clear, concise manner to senior stakeholders.
- Highly-organized and self-motivated to help design customer-obsessed products, execute a product release plan, and flexibly adapt to internal & market forces.
- Ability to achieve goals driven by optimal digital experience, product performance KPIs, time-to-market, and internal and external stakeholder satisfaction.
- Ability to influence and partner with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience in user centric designs to drive the right customer journey outcomes.
- Experience working with distributed scrum teams.
- Experience driving a strong controls environment by adhering to risk/control procedures while delivering for the customer
- Experience in financial services preferred.
