We are looking for a candidate with a passion for equities to join J.P. Morgan's Equity Research Product Marketing team in North America. This New York-based role is fundamental in shaping the quality and impact of our equity research across internal and external channels.
Job Description
As a member of J.P. Morgan's Equity Research Product Marketing team you will be in a unique position to increase the awareness of our research products. Our efforts are focused on helping to amplify and leverage the ideas of our analysts and to facilitate the creation and communication of top-rated research. A Product Marketing analyst works with a variety of different groups and has the opportunity to learn about J.P. Morgan's research business model, products, and processes (analysis, methodologies, investment ideas) and build relationships with many individual personalities.

Corporate and Investment Banking - Research

Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Head of Research Product to: (1) Define and execute the research publishing, distribution, and engagement strategy; (2) Execute the strategy in alignment with Americas equity research goals; (3) Contribute to and help manage our flagship and thematic research products
- Morning Meetings: (1) Help organize and produce summary products for equities morning meetings to maximize the commercial impact of our top-rated equity research content, (2) Monitor and track various markets and industry trends, (3) Host the U.S. Equity Morning Call when needed
- Develop Strong Relationships with the research department for trade ideas, thematic/cross-selling opportunities, and provide feedback
- Serve as Primary Contact for product-specific requests originating from sales and trading teams. Receive constant feedback on research quality, help identify thematic and timely ideas
- Embrace Technology to drive innovation and efficiency: Help optimize content formats, tagging, and discoverability of our research
- Maintain Relationships with Private Client Services and other internal departments to streamline and reduce demands on analysts
- Help Organize Conference Calls, Webinars, and Analyst Marketing to market our analysts and research products
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with supervisory analysts, production, compliance, legal, and other internal stakeholders to ensure completion of research projects and alignment with regulatory standards
Required Qualifications:
- Intellectual curiosity and a passion for the financial markets
- Solid organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong business communication skills and comfort engaging with internal stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and collaborate within a team environment
- Excellent writing, communication, follow-up, and presentation skills
- Confident user of Excel, Microsoft Office suite, and market databases like Bloomberg to analyze data
- Successful candidate will need to obtain FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and FINRA Series 63 licenses within 90 days of start
- Candidates must be authorized to work permanently in the U.S.
