Step into a pivotal role on our EMTN Desk in Hong Kong, where you'll be instrumental in arranging and executing private placements for Supra, Sovereign, Agency, FIG, and Corporate issuers. As an Analyst/Associate on the EMTN Desk, you will be part of the Frequent Borrower Syndicate and DCM team, reporting into Rates Trading. You will work closely with the APAC Syndicate team and various Asian DCM teams, focusing on FIG and Corporate issuers. This private side role offers a chance to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make a significant impact on our business.

- Originate and facilitate third-party private placements, including negotiating mandates with issuers and pricing various vanilla and structured pay-offs.
- Push trade ideas to sales and work closely with traders, sales, legal, middle office, compliance, credit, and other support functions.
- Book trades and communicate with various middle and back office teams.
- Compile and analyze market data and statistics.
- Prepare presentation materials and internal reports.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Previous experience in the bond market/swaps pricing is highly recommended.
- Ability to react quickly to changing market environments.
- Desire and ability to develop solid working relationships with individuals and teams from multiple divisions and time zones.
- Team player with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Strong approach to control environment and ability to understand and interpret legal documentation.
- High level of proficiency in Excel and data manipulation.
- Fluent English speaker required.
- Must have or be willing to gain the relevant HK License registration.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in private placements and structured products.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines.
