Drive the Future Internship Program - Middle Office
The internship program participants will join the JPMorgan&Chase team in Colombia and will receive several trainings & coaching to develop professional skills while experiencing our inclusive culture led by our principles: Service, Hearth, Curiosity, Courage and Excellence.
We are looking for students who are eager to learn, proactive, creative, curious and self-initiated. This is a full-time intern role and is our main talent pipeline for analyst roles.
In this opportunity, the Sales and Trade Support team, is looking for a new intern. In this team you are accountable for providing support activities ranging from system reference data maintenance and trade booking, front to back reconciliations, affirmation and confirmation generation, issuance and safekeeping for trading activities conducted by the Colombia CEM desk in both the offshore and onshore markets.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Advanced Bachelor student on Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering or similar.
- Advanced English.
- Strong track record in finance with knowledge of Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange products. Derivatives know-how is highly desirable.</li><li>Understanding of derivative transactions and trade events like recouponings and unwinds is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of some programing tool such as VBA, Python, R or others is a plus.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of region, products, market/industry and client base is a plus.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills preferred.</li><li><strong>Full-time availability</strong> to work in person</li></ul><br><strong>Job responsibilities:</strong><br><br><ul><li>Control environment and document safekeeping.</li><li>Provide support to the front office and sales team to process trade capture, reconciliation and lifecycle management in an organized and diligent manner.</li><li>Contribute analysis of new product or system implementations.</li><li>Partner with offshore teams to process offshore trade management and life-cycling.</li><li>Help to develop SOPs and SharePoint sites to consolidate operational models in an organized environment.
- Help the S&TS team to align business requirements with technology to enhance current operational models to comply with FO business priorities.
