Digital Transformation Product Owner - Associate

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work in the Product Owner team to partner with the Business.

As a Digital Transformation Product Owner within the Product Owner team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of digital initiatives that enhance the efficiency, scalability, and customer experience of wholesale lending operations. You will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of lending processes, digital technologies, and agile methodologies to promote innovation and improve business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the vision and strategy for digital transformation projects within wholesale lending and Align digital initiatives with the organization's overall goals and objectives, focusing on improving lending processes and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with business leaders, lending teams, IT departments, and external partners to gather requirements and prioritize initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment with business needs and manage stakeholder expectations, particularly in the context of lending operations.
  • Create and manage the product backlog, prioritizing items based on business value, regulatory requirements, and strategic importance.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of digital solutions that enhance lending operations.
  • Utilize agile methodologies to manage the development and delivery process, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to changing business needs.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Focus on enhancing the user experience for both internal teams and external clients by incorporating feedback and insights into the design and development process and Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and efficient digital experiences for lending platforms.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital transformation initiatives in wholesale lending and Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement in lending processes.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new digital tools and processes across lending operations and Provide training and support to end-users, including lending officers and clients, as needed.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation and staying up-to-date with the latest digital trends and technologies in the lending industry.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in digital transformation projects within the financial services or lending industry.
  • Strong understanding of wholesale lending processes, digital technologies, and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
