As part of the OTC Derivatives Operations group, you will be in charge of the correct execution of the financial contracts, ensuring these are confirmed within the expected timelines and meeting client expectations. This process involves resolving disputes with counterparts which entail being able to interact with internal groups and communicate properly what is required and having solid analytical skills to know when to agree and when to push back on client disputes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to clients to pre-affirm deals and fully sign the derivatives legal contracts
  • Resolution of disputes for Credit and Interest Rate derivative trades
  • Proactive ownership of problem solving for clients - own end-to-end issue resolution
  • Ensure timelines and client service delivery standards are continually achieved
  • Escalating issues in a timely manner by building a culture of transparency and open, honest & clear communication
  • Creation of your own relationship with the different teams that you interact with (Counterparties / Front Office / Middle Office / Legal / Drafting), partner with them on a day-to-day basis to perform more efficiently

Requirements are as per below:

  • Graduates or students pursuing Bachelor's degree looking to gain an insight into our firm and industry prior to finishing school - preferrably from Economics Science (Business Administration, Economy, Accountants, Actuary), Engineering or related careers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in Spanish and English
  • MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Disciplined, a self-starter, and the ability to execute on assignments independently & ownership of issues until resolution
  • A team player who demonstrates work ethic and consistently demonstrates a high-level of professionalism
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within the Line of Business
  • Strong capacity for operating in a flexible, dynamic environment
