As an Automation Analyst in the Data Solutions Operations team, you conduct intelligence automation and business analysis to gather requirements from the Operational Function. You translate process improvements and solutions for operational efficiencies, execute and implement automation strategies, and deliver outcomes to support the Operations function. You will play a key role in building a data ecosystem, delivering analytical solutions that align with organizational strategies, reporting needs, and process improvements to meet the needs of our global business.

Job responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, maintain and deploy visualizations to empower Instrument Reference Data team and clients with self-service analytical capabilities, embedding good User Experience design to enable intuitive sharing of data insights
  • Write Structured Query Language queries by understanding database design, relationships and logic to source data for visualizations
  • Build scalable pipelines to extract, load and transform data using Alteryx/UI Path/Python.
  • Ensure all elements are automated and executing in controlled environment and has appropriate documentation
  • Develop and maintain Artificial intelligence/Machine Learning models to achieve desired business outcomes
  • Manage end to end projects - understand business requirements and devise approaches
  • Combine data from a variety of sources, perform data cleaning and exploratory analysis
  • Work closely with data teams across the region on data quality related activities.
  • Manage and drive data quality initiatives which includes change management, data analytics and data quality related projects
  • Derive insights from dashboards and identify data quality themes and work with stakeholders to curate strategies to address them.
  • Perform problem and root-cause analysis to identify and refine inefficiencies to improve data quality, and deliver value to our stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Science, or Technology, or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in data modeling, transformation, and visualization related role with at least 1 year of experience in Financial Services industry
  • Hands-on experience in developing end-to-end BI solutions using digital tools like Python, Alteryx, or UI Path
  • Strong knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, QlikSense, or Power BI
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, JIRA, or Confluence
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their real-world applications
  • Understanding of Generative Artificial intelligence and advanced statistical techniques
  • Good stakeholder management and ability to drive conversations to extract required details
  • Inquisitive and analytical mindset, striving for excellence while paying attention to risk
  • Ability to communicate effectively within a team and across departments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Grasp of big data disciplines and Agile methodologies
  • Continuous learning with a growth mindset
  • Understanding of the data management lifecycle from sourcing to publication
  • Strong knowledge of financial instruments and relevant market activities
