In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing the visibility and understanding of the CCB data ecosystem, which includes platforms, tools, data, and users. Your efforts will support the firm wide migration to the cloud and drive a more efficient and effective user experience for data consumers throughout CCB, ultimately helping our employees deliver superior customer experiences more quickly.

You will leverage your expertise in data science to produce data analytics products, making it easier to understand the dynamics within the data ecosystem. Engaging with stakeholders across analytics, business, and technology, you will drive innovative solutions with a focus on customer and business impact.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Using your knowledge and technical skills to help drive our strategy and priorities
  • Collaborating across teams to deliver the best solution for data consumers, leveraging a wide range of internal resources
  • Helping stakeholders define their business problem and scope analytical solutions to address it
  • Building an in-depth understanding of the business and available data assets
  • Researching, designing, implementing, and evaluating analytical approaches and models
  • Executing analytics and prototyping solutions like curated datasets: collect and clean data from diverse data sources and locate new data sources, build and test solutions, supporting the plan to operationalize and scale them, etc.
  • Effectively communicating proposed solutions and the insights of your work to stakeholders

Required qualification, capabilities and skills:

  • Expertise in SQL and Python.
  • Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Data Science, Machine Learning, etc.
  • 3+ years of work experience as a data scientist or data engineer.
  • Experience developing data as a product (i.e., curating and publishing datasets).
  • Experience performing analytics or publishing data in the cloud.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in practical data analysis and cleansing, modeling (machine learning, time series, NLP), and visualization.

Preferred qualification, capabilities and skills:

  • Experience building both relational and graph datasets/databases.
  • Knowledge of the product lifecycle, agile frameworks, and data engineering.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Creative self-starter with demonstrated strong work ethic.
  • Strong track record of success as demonstrated by professional/educational background & accomplishments.

We have a strong partnership with Technology, which provides cutting edge data and analytics infrastructure. The team powers Chase with insights to create the best customer and business outcomes.
