As a Vice President of Data Products within the Firmwide Chief Data Office, you will lead the strategy and implementation of data product development, focusing on guiding teams to execute the defined strategy. You will refine the data product approach, gather feedback to enhance organizational guidance, and collaborate to prioritize data products. You will ensure consistent registration in the Firmwide data catalog, define effectiveness metrics, and provide strategic insights. You will promote best practices, create strategic reports, and communicate complex data concepts, engaging with engineers, designers, and leaders collaboratively.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute and refine the approach for data product development at JPMC.
  • Gather feedback from data product teams to refine organizational guidance.
  • Collaborate with Lines of Business to determine high-priority data products.
  • Ensure consistent registration of data products in the Firmwide data catalog.
  • Define data product effectiveness metrics and provide strategic insights.
  • Collaborate with CDAO teams to refine data strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to data leaders, driving best practices.
  • Lead the creation of strategic reports and communicate complex data concepts.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Formal training or certification in Product management concepts and 6+ years applied experience
  • Ability to solve complex problems with data-driven narratives.
  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and leaders collaboratively.
  • Innovative thinking with a disciplined approach to data product management.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate business needs to technical leadership and vice versa.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality in communication.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Familiarity with the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in data management tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native data analysis platforms like Databricks, Snowflake.
  • Understanding of data governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in building or managing data products and datasets.
