Join the JPMorgan Spółka Europejska (JPMSE) Data Governance team to a lead the Warsaw Data Access Control Management Team managing the risk of inappropriate user access to JPMSE data. A successful candidate should be interested in working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role is varied and demanding and requires the ability to work independently, as well as interaction with various stakeholders and internal clients on a local and regional level.

As a Vice President in the Data Access Control Management team, you will be involved in reviewing and processing user access requests, conducting periodic user access recertification, managing exceptions, gathering information related to audit requests, preparing monthly management reports, and participating in projects related to user access controls. Your role will involve meeting both local and corporate requirements, and you will be part of the JPMSE Data Governance Team. This team supports all lines of business within the entity, including Securities Services, Wholesale Payments, Private Banking, and Commercial Banking.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of experienced Access practitioners in Warsaw, ensuring adherence to respective regulatory requirements and JPMSE internal policies
  • Assign tasks, set deadlines for your team and keep track of the progress to maximize effective management of resources and talent
  • Manage and develop an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture and positive employee experience
  • Be accountable for the execution of all JPMSE Data Governance Team tasks, with specific focus on JPMSE Data Access Control Management processes, including user access requests review, access recertification, exception management, etc.
  • Enhance and present monthly management and metrics reporting to governance committees (both Lux and JPMSE)
  • Liaise with business partners on identification and control of new applications added to JPMSE scope, and ensure continuous compliance of existing in-scope applications
  • Serve as a contact point for local information owners in procedural queries to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Exercise a high degree of initiative and independent judgment in coordinating and prioritizing work
  • Foster and maintain effective collaboration with key stakeholders, including active participation in projects related to relevant system migrations impacting JPMSE Data Governance
  • Look to develop automation solutions proactively - partnering with AI/ML - to minimize manual processing
  • Support global, regional and local projects to deliver a robust governance and access management control framework

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proven work experience as a line manager or supervisor with organizational and time-management skills
  • A background in related functions within the banking sector, with experience in user access controls and application entitlements
  • Previous experience in projects and tasks related to Data Access Control Management and automation
  • Highly motivated, energetic self-starter who takes ownership of issues and drives them to resolution
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships
  • Ability to coordinate issues, findings and practices with colleagues across regions and/or divisions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience
  • Ability to share clear messages and make complex ideas easy to understand for everyone with interpersonal communication skills
  • Fluency in English

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • German language skills
  • Experience in handling exposure to regulatory bodies
