This role is varied and demanding and requires the ability to work independently, as well as interaction with various stakeholders and internal clients on a local and regional level.

As a Data Access Control Management - Associate in the JP Morgan Spółka Europejska (JPMSE) Data Governance team you will be reviewing and processing user access requests, performing periodic user recertification, information gathering related to audit requests, and participating in projects related to user access controls. You will be supporting all lines of business and Corporate Functions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job responsibilities

  • Reviews and approves user access requests (add, modify, or remove) for applications containing JPMSE confidential data, as well as periodically recertifies user access
  • Exercise a high degree of initiative and independent judgment in the coordination and prioritization of assigned tasks and projects
  • Support the maintenance of comprehensive and detailed user guides and trainings for stakeholders
  • Participate in projects related to User Access Entitlements, which may encompass automation initiatives, in-depth analysis, and the redefinition of Access Profiles for Applications
  • Gathers information on User Access Entitlements and Recertification tasks completed to meet Internal and External Audit requests for information
  • Collaborate closely with Technology to manage changes in identifying and controlling applications added to JPMSE inventory
  • Contribute to global, regional, and local projects aimed at delivering a robust governance and access management control framework

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of experience within Banking or Financial Services, showcasing a strong understanding of regulatory compliance
  • Highly motivated, energetic self-starter who proactively takes ownership of issues and drives them to successful resolution
  • Excellent communication with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience
  • Strong team player with excellent partnering and influencing skills
  • Investigative mindset, strong analytical, problem solving, and process re-engineering skills and experience using data mining tools
  • Excellent Excel skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management structures/processes such as Access controls, entitlement certification and user access removal
  • PowerPoint is essential, and experience with intelligent solutions (e.g., Alteryx, UiPath, etc.) will be considered an asset
