As a Credit Operations Analyst II within JPMorganChase, you will enhance credit operations by analyzing processes and data to identify trends to support improving the Customer and Lender Experience. Your work will significantly impact the department to help better serve our Customers. Leveraging your broad knowledge and advanced analytical and strategic skills, you will solve problems and make decisions affecting departmental operations. You will collaborate with different departments, identify opportunities for increased efficiency, while generating innovative ideas. Your strategic thinking will be essential in using data to understand issues and opportunities, and in collaborating on strategy development and measuring impact of complex initiatives.

Job responsibilities

  • Analyze end to end processes to identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce friction for Customers and Lenders.
  • Leads and executes strategic design and process improvement initiatives across the CLS Business Card platform
  • Develop both long-term and short-term solutions for the Card Lending Services Operations teams.
  • Collaborate with Risk, Marketing, Readiness, Product Owners and Technology partners to complete Impact Assessments while managing related projects and initiatives.
  • Create and deliver executive level presentations to Senior Leadership to provide updates as well as to influence prioritization of resources with various partners.
  • Assess overall technical and volume related impacts to Card Lending Services Operations and providing appropriate level of escalations when necessary. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in analyzing credit data and identifying trends to support decision-making in a financial institution.
  • Proven ability to develop both long-term and short-term solutions to complex activities requiring analysis and judgement in Card Lending Services Operations.
  • Strategic and Innovative mindset
  • Advanced proficiency in using technology, specifically Microsoft products and proprietary systems, to perform tasks and solve problems related to credit operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple highly complex projects and initiatives that have significant impact on Card Lending Services Operations.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing tasks and responsibilities while leveraging existing knowledge of Card Lending Services to ensure successful execution and delivery.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficiency in creating and presenting clear and concise credit-related communications and documentation.
  • Understanding and familiarity with Business Card Lending Operations.
  • Experience in supporting the integration of artificial intelligence tools to enhance credit operations processes.
  • Ability to create end to end process flows and identify friction points to improve Customer Experience.
  • Basic digital proficiency for effective utilization of credit management systems and tools.
  • Capability to conduct preliminary data analytics to support credit decision-making and identify trends.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple verticals and work effectively to create a strong team environment. Willing to participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills in credit operations.
