Credit Middle Office Quality Control - Analyst

As a Quality Control Specialist in the Credit Middle Office Team within the Private Bank, you will ensure the quality of credit documentation supporting transactions. You will work closely with stakeholders to safeguard the business from regulatory and credit risks, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our quality program. Your role is vital in maintaining the highest standards and enhancing the client experience.

Job Responsibilities:
• Audit and perform quality reviews of credit documentation, collateral, and covenant setup.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the quality program.
• Provide assistance to data owners and approvers.
• Interpret firm policies and compliance requirements for incorporation into systems.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
• Maintain a controls mindset, challenging the status quo and identifying efficiencies.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
• Fluency in English.
• Experience in legal documentation, audit, or reviewing credit/loan documentation within a financial institution.
• Understanding of credit-related legal risks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Control and risk mitigation mindset.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Alteryx, Python, Tableau, UiPath.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
• Previous experience in Credit Middle Office, credit documentation, audit, or control function is preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access is an asset.
• Fluency in French, Italian, or Spanish is an advantage.
