Position Summary:
Credit Markets Private Capital Solutions works with partners across Global Markets and Banking to deliver cutting-edge capital solutions to issuers, sponsors, and investor clients covering the entire credit spectrum from investment grade to non-investment grade. We deliver innovative capital solutions to boost liquidity and refine financial strategies for partners.
Job Description:
As an Associate in Credit Markets Private Capital Solutions, you will collaborate with partners across Global Markets and Banking to deliver innovative capital solutions. You will evaluate transactions, prepare due diligence and credit analysis, assist in investment decisions, manage the lending process, negotiate terms, and develop relationships with stakeholders, focusing on opportunities within the credit spectrum.
Job Responsibilities:
- Help senior team members evaluate transactions, focusing on investment grade and infrastructure-related risk profiles.
- Prepare in-depth due diligence, fundamental credit analysis, financial models, pitches, and internal memos for a broad range of clients and industries.
- Assist senior team members in making investment decisions, managing risk, and supporting all aspects of the credit underwriting and transaction approval process
- Manage the lending process from origination to closing, ensuring timely execution and adherence to lending policies and regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate terms and partner with Credit Structuring to draft comprehensive term sheets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal Global Markets and Banking stakeholders, identifying lending opportunities and appraising new opportunities..

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Must have at least 3+ years of experience in investment banking, credit risk, or financial markets.
- Strong fundamental credit analysis skills, with the ability to analyze a variety of industries.
- Ability to build complex financial models and identify comparable.
- Understanding of the evolving private credit ecosystem.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial drive with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- CFA qualification is not required but would be a plus.
- Previous exposure to credit agreement construction and negotiation is a plus.
