As a Business Manager Vice President in the EMEA Corporates & Private Side Sales & Global Commodities Sales Business Manage team, you will support senior Managing Directors in the UK and Continental Europe as well as other senior stakeholders across the globe on strategic initiatives. You will partner closely with other business managers globally across sales, trading and functions including but not limited to Legal & Compliance, Client Onboarding, Business controls, Planning & Analysis, Controllers/ Finance, Operations and Technology, etc. to define and drive the business agenda.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide management assistance, such as convening business reviews and management meetings.
- Develop business cases for resource commitment.
- Ensure delivery and governance of business initiatives and projects.
- Align front office teams and support groups (Finance, Technology, Operations, Legal, HR) to business priorities.
- Drive competitive analysis and reporting with the central team.
- Support regional and cross-business strategic partnerships.
- Partner with business and technology to implement product/technology strategy.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate business risks across multiple countries.
- Manage regulatory changes impacting the business (e.g., Dodd Frank, QFC, MiFID II, NCMR, Reg K).
- Lead the annual business budget process with Planning and Analysis and client analysis/account planning.
- Oversee investment and productivity initiatives to achieve multi-year targets and real estate needs and space planning as required.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in Business Management (Sales, Banking, Trading) or COO functions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders with effective presentations to senior and global business heads..
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, data management, analytics, and data modeling. Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Proven credibility in managing a business or business function.
- Detail-oriented without losing sight of the overall business picture.
- Ability to identify and implement best-practice operations and solutions.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
- Strong internal relationship-building skills across functions.
- Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work independently, high ethical standards, and strong control mindset.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions clearly.
