Corporate Communications Vice President

Corporate Communications is focused on elevating the quality, consistency and impact of our internal communications. We are seeking a Corporate Communications Manager Vice President as we continue to transform our digital employee experience, standards and best practices to champion the development, implementation and ongoing refinement of communication standards and best practices across all channels.

As a Corporate Communications Manager Vice President within Corporate Communications, you will ensure our communications are clear, consistent and aligned with our brand values, while meeting the diverse needs of our global employee base. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to establish and maintain guidelines for content creation, distribution and governance, supporting our mission to deliver timely, relevant and engaging communications that promote employee engagement and action. You will also be responsible for managing the book of work for internal communications, including tracking all planned communications across channels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation, documentation and regular review of communication standards and best practices for all internal channels (web, app, multimedia, virtual agents, etc.). Ensure guidelines are up-to-date and reflect industry trends, regulatory requirements, and firmwide objectives.
  • Oversee the application of standards across all content types, including articles, notifications, campaigns and multimedia. Conduct regular assessments to ensure adherence and provide actionable feedback to content creators and adhere to EX Kit standards.
  • Develop and deliver training programs, toolkits and resources to empower team members and stakeholders to consistently apply standards and best practices. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for questions related to communications quality and compliance.
  • Partner with the Editorial Director, Head of Operations and other leaders to enforce governance processes, including the review and approval of content and the removal of non-compliant materials. Maintain documentation and reporting for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Work closely with Line of Business site owners, Employee Experience, and other partners to ensure standards are understood, adopted and integrated into daily workflows. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in corporate communications. Proactively recommend enhancements to standards and practices to keep the firm at the forefront of internal communications excellence.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, content governance or related field, including 3+ years in a leadership or standards-focused role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing communication standards, guidelines, or best practices.
  • Strong understanding of digital communication channels and content types.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex standards and provide constructive feedback.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver effective training and enablement programs.
  • Strong program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving adoption of new processes.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience in a large corporate environment or financial services industry
