As a CORE Control Manager in our Global Investment Banking Control Management team, you will ensure the effective coordination and enhancement of our control and operational risk environment. You will work closely with Business Control Managers and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with Firmwide standards and procedures. Together, we will foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and improve the CORE process across Global Investment Banking.
  • Assist Business Control Managers daily with CORE activities.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of CORE.
  • Ensure understanding of Firmwide CORE standards and procedures.
  • Review and close out all Program and self-identified CORE hygiene items.
  • Manage data input/upload into CORE, maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
  • Partner with Business Control Managers and CIB CORE teams to foster collaboration.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the CORE application.
  • Support data quality analysis and reporting.
  • Assist with control issues, ensuring prioritization and adherence to policies.
  • Conduct qualitative assessments and deep dives on high-risk control areas.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on CORE-related activities.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in Compliance and Operational Risk Evaluation (CORE) system.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage relationships.
  • Effective communication skills with various stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes.
  • Proactive in improving business processes.
  • Ability to transform ideas into electronic presentations quickly.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Understanding of Global Investment Banking Business
  • Proven track record in data management and quality analysis.
  • Prior experience in Control Management
