Job Summary
As a Content Design Senior Associate on the auto lending team, you will play a key role in shaping digital experiences that make a real financial difference in customers' lives. Using your expertise in storytelling, writing, content strategy, information architecture, and user experience design, you will plan, create, and structure product content. Collaborate with cross-functional partners on all aspects of product design to achieve customer and business goals. You will be fully embedded in the product design team, working in sprints with an understand, explore, test, and iterate approach.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop content strategies for products and features that align with customer and business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create engaging, impactful, accessible content.
  • Write copy that simplifies complex financial concepts and interfaces.
  • Create taxonomies to help customers find and discover the right features and content.
  • Use research and performance metrics to make informed decisions and gain stakeholder alignment.
  • Partner with research and data to design experiments, customer studies, and user tests.
  • Adhere to and help evolve content standards (voice, tone, patterns, etc.).
  • Collaborate with designers to explore design solutions and create iterative prototypes.
  • Protect the firm by following controls and securing necessary approvals.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in content design, user experience writing, or digital copywriting.
  • Experience using storytelling and information architecture to design digital experiences.
  • Demonstrated experience applying accessibility guidelines and inclusive design principles.
  • Experience with iterative design, using research and data to inform continuous improvement.
  • Proficient technical literacy in content platforms and understanding their impact on user experience.
  • Adaptive learner of new financial services products and offerings.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Advanced skills in user experience writing.
  • Expertise in the craft of storytelling.
  • Advanced understanding of how words impact human-computer interaction.
  • Understanding of interaction design principles.
  • Experience measuring content effectiveness through quantitative and heuristic analysis.
  • Experience with journey mapping and empathy mapping.
