As an Executive Director within the Consumer & Community Bank Third Party Oversight team, you will lead transformative projects that shape the future of our industry. You will promote the strategic direction and operational excellence of our oversight and governance functions, ensuring effective management of our third parties. You will identify, oversee, and mitigate compliance and operational risks in line with the firm's standards, collaborating with various stakeholders to develop and maintain a comprehensive view of the outsourcing risk posture and its impact on the business.

- Lead and govern the progress of strategic programs, ensuring alignment with business strategy, managing risks, and making necessary adjustments to deliver on program commitment to uplift and strengthen supplier risk management across CCB.
- Build and collaborate with the existing team to enhance the oversight and governance group within the Third Party Oversight team.
- Partner with business process owners to capture business-specific risks and implement a framework to mitigate those risks.
- Coordinate engagement with key stakeholders such as Cyber, Technology, Business Resiliency, and Corporate Third Party Oversight to establish a cross-functional review framework.
- Create Line of Business (LOB) procedures and governance frameworks.
- Develop and maintain key contacts and working relationships with various areas within the firm.
- Ensure timely escalation of key risks and issues to management and interested stakeholders.
- Represent the Third Party Oversight team in various governance, legal, and controls forums.
- Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders, providing regular updates on program progress, and collaborating to resolve potential issues and conflicts.
- Foster a productive and inclusive work environment, building a diverse team, delegating tasks effectively, and promoting continuous learning and improvement.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven ability to lead complex, strategic programs and projects in a large organization, within the financial sector, typically demonstrated through 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with outsourcing risk and processes, implementing policies/standards, and risk management.
- Demonstrated expertise in transforming strategic plans into operational programs, including risk management, stakeholder engagement, and change management.
- Advanced proficiency in cross-functional collaboration, with a track record of effectively working with individuals from different departments to achieve common goals.
- Expertise in conflict management, with the ability to identify potential conflicts and facilitate discussions to create win-win solutions.
