The Connected Banking Growth area product group (APG) is seeking a highly effective and innovative Product Manager (Senior Product Associate) to lead entry tile and insight growth for Connected Banking products, responsible for personalized tools and insights that empower customers to manage their finances effectively and partnering with Credit Journey (CJ) and Spend Product owners to support growth by placing insights and entry tiles strategically. The ideal candidate should have experience delivering personal financial management features for mobile and web and be capable of managing multiple deliveries while communicating updates to Quad and dependent teams.

As a Senior Product Associate within the Connected Banking Growth Entry Tiles & Insights team, you will leverage your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.

You will partner across business lines to execute a dynamic roadmap, ensuring JP Morgan remains at the forefront of the evolving technology landscape. The role involves collaboration with core engineering, design, and business teams to deliver robust feature sets to market. The ideal candidate is an outcome-focused Product Manager with an agile mindset, excellent communication and analytical skills, and a passion for digital channels, capable of inspiring confidence and fostering collaboration with technology and internal stakeholders.

Job responsibilities

  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, research, and marketing teams to develop new product initiatives and lead discovery work to identify customer problems and solutions
  • Define product initiatives for new features and optimize existing ones, incorporating them into product roadmaps and developing business cases with cross-functional teams
  • Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, and market analysis to prioritize product initiatives and define product strategy
  • Manage and communicate feature prioritization, focusing on user and business benefits, tradeoffs, and market opportunities
  • Ensure stakeholder communications meet business needs, setting and managing expectations through effective written and oral communication

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
  • Experience working within an Agile development framework, with a strong understanding of Product Owner roles and responsibilities
  • Proven ability to author business requirements, define user stories, and execute them by coordinating cross-functional teams within an Agile framework
  • Skilled in defining and building product roadmaps, and prioritizing the backlog
  • Ability to influence people at all levels across various job functions
  • Structured thinker and effective communicator with excellent written skills, time management, and the ability to maintain calmness and clarity under pressure

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Subject matter knowledge in financial or personal financial management is a plus
  • Commitment and self-motivation suitable for a start-up team within a large organization
  • Ability to manage multiple requirements and deliveries simultaneously while staying organized and communicative with dependent partners and senior leadership
