J.P. Morgan Wealth Management is looking for an exceptional writer and passionate communications professional to join our high-performing Content & Communications team. We're a highly motivated team that operates like a news organization, the goal is to keep our growing network of advisors engaged, and informed through newsletters, town halls, videos and presentations.

As a Communications Manager Vice President you will work closely with senior executives to prepare and execute their communication needs. Engage your strong writing skills to take complex financial and regulatory issues and make them understandable. In addition, you will be responsible for crafting strategic messages and enhancing senior leadership profiles.

  • Develop and implement communication strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance employee engagement.
  • Write, edit and deliver executive and advisor communications with clarity and consistency.
  • Oversee the narrative, including writing, editing and delivery of executive and advisor communications.
  • Track engagement using internal technology and advise on the best strategies to reach employees.
  • Prepare presentations and participate in meetings with advisors, senior business and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and manage stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Provide additional communications support, when needed, for other business units.
  • Curate executive-ready presentations, manage event logistics and coordinate speakers for various forums and events.
  • Identify risks and escalate issues quickly and appropriately, resolving them with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Build trust and rapport through all interactions to deliver the right outcomes for the business, leading advisor and client mindset across all strategic initiatives.
  • Provide execution support for the business on key priorities and activities with a quick turnaround.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in communications
  • Superior writing skills with versatility across formats, including technical writing and executive messaging.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Expert in executive presentation building skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex topics into clear, precise writing as well as apply quantitative and strategic approaches plus work well in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to interact with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resources.
  • Strong ability to prioritize work; strong organizational skills and detail-orientation, comfort juggling a dynamic and ever-changing workload.
  • Demonstrated track record of a high level of initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals and ability to work in an unstructured, dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to acquiring new knowledge and skills; seek to continuously improve standards of work and address opportunities for development.
