Commercial & Investment Banking Early Careers Recruiter, Associate

We are seeking an Early Careers Recruiter to focus on identifying top junior talent for the Commercial & Investment Banking business. The business is focused on building the next generation of our business and this position will be integral in the business' wide recruiting initiatives.

As an Early Careers Recruiter within the Commercial & Investment Banking team, you will be tasked with the recruitment of summer and full-time analysts. Our Commercial & Investment Banking division is dedicated to aiding our clients in achieving their goals and making a significant positive impact in our communities. This includes offering credit and financing, treasury and payment services, international banking, and real estate services to a diverse range of clients. These clients encompass corporations, municipalities, institutions, real estate investors and owners, and nonprofit organizations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders, and school teams to formulate an effective recruiting strategy
  • Organize and attend on-campus or virtual events aimed at raising brand awareness
  • Educate candidates about the nature of the roles offered and assist candidates in navigating opportunities
  • Ensure proper visibility of CIB programs with candidates, faculty, and administrators
  • Build and maintain relationships with key school clubs and organizations, which includes providing information on the firm, recruiting process, and helping to determine area of interest within the firm
  • Manage full-cycle candidate evaluation process and provide organized and timely updates to stakeholders on progression of the processes
  • Prepare and distribute resumes to interviewing team, track candidate progression, facilitate first round interviews, review pre-recorded video interviews, organize and attend final round (Super Day) interviews, communicate offer decisions to candidates
  • Partner with business stakeholders on the summer analyst experience, including performance development and conversion process to full-time analyst

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of business or recruiting experience
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking and strong attention to detail
  • Displays organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Demonstrates relationship management and consulting skills and the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders; has desire to build knowledge and understanding of our businesses
  • Possesses strong communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrates the skills and abilities necessary to work in a team setting and collaborate/take lead on projects and deliverables
  • Able to meet travel requirements during peak recruiting seasons
