Job Responsibilities
- Work alongside the CEO and senior leadership team, providing commercial insights and guidance.
- Own financial models for budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Lead initiatives to optimize pricing, product mix, and customer segmentation.
- Develop and implement strategies for customer and product profitability.
- Partner with product and marketing teams for financial insights.
- Analyze market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Support regulatory submissions and internal model governance.
- Handle ad hoc projects in planning, corporate, and general finance.
- Assist the CEO in legal and regulatory interactions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Qualified accountant or relevant finance qualification.
- Extensive experience in senior commercial finance roles in the German retail market.
- Proven track record of partnering with senior executives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis.
- Financial modeling and analysis expertise.
- Fluency in English; German preferred.
