As a Partnerships Executive Director in Connected Commerce you will lead the overall management of our wallet and strategic partners within the Commerce Payments team.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead a team of product focused relationship managers managing external key strategic partners (Apple, Google, Samsung, PayPal, FinTechs, direct merchant provisioning, etc.) supporting Commerce Payments (notably tokenization and provisioning)
- Strengthen, manage and report on strategic partner plans/initiatives and overall partner health
- Collaborate with internal cross functional partners (product, corporate development, analytics finance, fraud, legal etc.) to lead all partnership discussions which influence product strategy
- Lead all partner management initiatives (quarterly business reviews, monthly analytics reporting, monthly billing reporting, overall day to day management); both internal and external
- Lead management of all contractual obligations for contracts with key partners
- Collaborate with Corporate Development on deal structures and terms for joint partnerships

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 12+ years of experience in strategic partnerships focused in the payments industry
- Experience working in a product focused environment with significant internal and external dependencies
- Experience negotiating commercial deals to support new product initiatives
- Deep acumen on the mobile & emerging payments landscape, is an avid user of digital payment applications, interested in product and is a strong relationship manager
- Candidate should have exceptional relationship management skills
- Ability to think strategically and to connect the dots to the bigger picture, while still comfortable diving into the details required to ensure successful execution
- Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills
- Proven success in collaborating, influencing, and guiding decisions with multiple stakeholders, including team members across product, technology and design
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience working at or with wallet providers, payment platforms or payment networks
- Experience leading large cross-functional initiatives to drive top of wallet behavior, increase wallet spend, improve token authorization rate and/or reduce token fraud rate
