As a Collateral Operations Analyst within Agency Securities Lending Team, you will work closely with global stakeholders to ensure client obligations are fulfilled. You will oversee and settle collateral trades, manage intraday exposures, and maintain correct margins, all while navigating a complex and fast-paced environment.
Job responsibilities:
- Processes and settles daily collateral trades efficiently.
- Calculates non-cash and cash collateral exposures, ensuring collateral delivery and correct margin maintenance.
- Marks previously settled loans to account for securities price fluctuations, maintaining collateral to correct margins.
- Understands cash flows and processes manual payments accurately.
- Performs daily reconciliations and reports intraday and end-of-day items.
- Manages cash breaks effectively.
- Collaborates with trade desks, third party agents, treasury services, and counterparties.
- Addresses a high volume of queries related to product understanding, collateral settlement, and reconciliation breaks.
- Manages client relationships and liaises with relationship managers to uphold client expectations.
