DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Perform daily reconciliations between Front Office, Stakeholders and Top tier Clients. Reconcile discrepancies in client accounts by working closely with operations teams. Ensure transactions are correctly matched in the systems and market. Respond in a timely manner to Front Office - Trader's and Client's inquiries. Create internal manuals for team members with market specifics and systems functionalities. Contribute on projects and execute testing of system enhancements. Partner with off-shore teams (Emea & Latam) to build strong relationships and coverage. Contribute to the end-to-end process for USA Markers moving to T+1 cycle. Assist with colleague's queries and propose automation solutions. Create internal manuals for team members with market specifics and systems functionalities. Contribute to new joiner training. Participate in recruiting events.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Client Services Sr Associate, Equities Sr Associate, Securities Processing Ops Analyst, Senior Tax Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Client Services Sr Associate, Equities Sr Associate, Securities Processing Ops Analyst, Senior Tax Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: working in middle office including provision of trade support, reconciliation, and client interaction; building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and engagement; analyzing data and reports to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement; using analytics tools to understand global markets and associated settlement risks; identifying, analyzing, and resolving trade discrepancies and breaks, as well as performing root cause analysis to prevent future issues; analyzing trading allocation and confirmation processes and recommending improvements for quality, control, and efficiency; monitoring and managing daily control reports and trade discrepancies; interacting with clients, sales traders, service providers, and operations staff; managing trade fails, including break resolution and trade repair; protecting a financial firm from transactional, reputational or cyber risk; back office operations, including equities, fixed income, and custody services; US Domestic and International markets including settlement and claims processes; equity trade lifecycle and any of the various applications products involved in trade processing such as DTCC Alert, DTCC CTM, DTCC Tradesuite, DTCC Rad, Traiana Harmony, or NYFIX.
