As an Executive Director in the Client Onboarding and Service Controls Execution team, you play a pivotal role in safeguarding our business and clients. You will lead governance initiatives, partner across teams, and drive best-in-class control management for Payments and Merchant Services. Your work ensures our organization remains resilient, compliant, and trusted. You'll foster a culture of transparency and proactive risk management, making a meaningful impact on our clients and the wider community. You will be part of a global organization that provides strategic advice, manages risk, and delivers liquidity to clients in over 100 countries. The Client Onboarding and Service team is dedicated to transforming the client experience across Payments, Merchant Services, and Trade products. Your leadership will help us deliver seamless, secure, and innovative solutions for our clients.

Job responsibilities

  • Ensure implementation and oversight of the end-to-end system of controls that mitigates risk through active engagement, thematic reviews, risk analysis and control deep dives which continuously manage and reduce the business' residual risk profile
  • Evaluate and continuously improve control processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize control frameworks, leveraging AI and intelligent solutions
  • Assess criticality and risk of outsourcing arrangements for APAC Client Service and Onboarding (COS)
  • Develop and manage governance framework for 14-legal entity service provisions including; inventory, service level standard monitoring and exit plans
  • Represent COS in APAC steering committees, where required, and on projects required to meet local, regional and global regulations
  • Anticipate internal and external factors impacting the business' governance and implement plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities
  • Participate in the development, oversight and execution of respective APAC business continuity plans
  • Partner with the APAC COS Control Management organization on internal and external audits, data breach and/or privacy incidents, risk and financial loss events, early escalations, issue and action plan closure, data risk management, and risk assessments.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related disciplines
  • Understanding of APAC Regulatory compliance standards and requirements related to Payments
  • Familiarity with the firm's Inter-affiliate services program and technology solutions for outsourcing
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with business partners in internal Line of Businesses
  • Advanced knowledge of controls design and evaluation concepts, risk assessment processes, Objectives and Key Results, Key Risk Indicator and other metrics development and the ability to assess the relevance of internal and external standards and procedures
  • Strong understanding of Payment products and services
  • Attention to detail combined with an ability to absorb information and form an opinion or conclusion
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data visualization and/or automation tools - Tableau, Xceptor, Alteryx
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence and summarize complex issues
  • Experience with use- case development and utilization of Artificial Intelligence
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, with a sense of urgency thorough effective

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Master's degree will be a plus.
  • Prior experience in Control Management or First Line of Defense roles will be beneficial
