DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Responsible for holistic financial transactions involving preparing client marketing materials, navigating internal underwriting commitments committee and carbon assessments, legal document review, and execution. Making recommendations to clients regarding timing and strategy based on assessing market conditions, corresponding with investors, and facilitating the end-to- end process during execution of transactions. Utilize applications to create content for client marketing materials such as equity market overviews, shareholder analysis, and peer comparisons and benchmarking. Identify bottlenecks in transactions, conflicts of interest, and regulatory roadblocks to streamline the deal process by using databases and coordinating with clients, counsels, and compliance groups. Formulate market views and identify potential client opportunities or challenges by using a database to track global markets, macro trends, and develop analysis of trends and their impacts broadly and to the Energy and Power sectors. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field of study plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or as Client Management, Equity Capital Markets Associate/Analyst, Global Corporate Banking Associate/Analyst, Wholesale Credit Associate/Analyst, Commercial Banking Associate/Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires 5 of years of experience with the following: designing and developing flexible Excel and PPT reports with advanced functionalities including vlookup, index match, and pivots; precedent deals, structures, and outcomes within the Energy and Power sector. This position requires 4 of years of experience with the following: analyzing technical drivers of markets, including equities, by using tools including Bloomberg; advising clients on expected market pricing in the Energy and Power sector; using technical information around the Energy and Power sector and considerations for raising equity capital to advise clients. This position requires 2 of years of experience with the following: executing Energy and Power ECM transactions including both IPOs and follow- on offerings while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements; using Factset and Eikon; using arrays in Excel to develop reports in Excel and PPT; advising clients on market receptivity, timing, and strategies for raising equity capital in the Energy and Power sector. This position requires passage of SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 FINRA licensing exams within 30 days of start.
Job Location: 383 Madison Ave., New York, NY 10179. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.
Full-Time. Salary: $285,000 - $285,000 per year.
