Position Summary:
As a Client Data Manager III, you will be responsible for planning, organizing and overseeing activities and staff for Custody Services. You will work within stringent time constraints and in a high volume, dynamic environment. You will recommend and implement specific procedures in an effort to maximum effectiveness and efficiency of processes; establish operational policies and budgets; ensure adherence to applicable agency guidelines; and make timely recommendations for production/service improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing a major department within Custody Services, including the implementation of operational policies and plans.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to improve effectiveness and efficiency of services and systems.
- Manage resources and operating expenses. Resolve escalated complex customer issues.
- Manage, coordinate, and direct the operations of up to 15 employees. Manage and direct overall team activities and monitor progress.
- Define and measure performance standards, staff development as well as building and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Prepare annual performance appraisals, monthly feedback sessions, continuous development plans, and communicate to staff.
- Adherence to policies and procedures, while seeking opportunities to improve processes and operating efficiency.
- Build collaborative internal and external relationships. Leverage tools to track and maximize team performance.
- Develop strategic plans to facilitate meeting long-term goals and future investment planning.
- Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to processes.
- Strong analytical skills to assess process needs and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Analyze existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and automation.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Proven people management skills to include setting objectives, providing performance feedback, evaluating and rewarding performance
- Planning and budget management skills
- Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills
- Independent decision making
- Ability to find creative solutions for complex issues
- Able to meet deadlines and multi-task and Ability to build high performing teams
- Proven interpersonal and team-oriented skills

- Must have exceptional communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff
- Ability to communicate effectively, build and maintain rapport with customers, peers, third parties, investors, colleagues, and other departments
- Ability to motivate, develop and retain talent and Ability to learn and explain detailed processes
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 5-10 years prior supervisory experience required.
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of collateral tracking and image repository systems.
