As a Client Data Associate within the Custody Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting client data onboarding and maintenance, collaborating with Custody Managers from data mapping to implementation. You will liaise with embTRUST vendor and IT on initiatives, ensure data privacy, oversee database access, manage data retention, conduct control reviews, and perform Information Owner tasks. Additionally, you will process SharePoint requests, develop client-specific features, monitor workflows, manage user permissions, and conduct testing for embTRUST SaaS releases.

- Support client data onboarding and maintenance, collaborating with Custody Managers from data mapping to implementation
- Liaise with embTRUST vendor and IT on Chase-wide and custody-specific initiatives, including system updates impacting Custody
- Ensure data privacy across clients by defining business data and logical partitions; assist in reporting requirements and conduct logic reviews
- Oversee Custody Operations Reporting Database access, ensuring data pulls align with business definitions and logical partitions
- Manage data retention processes, including legal holds and retention in embTRUST vs. CORD
- Conduct control reviews and perform Information Owner tasks, including audits and certifications
- Process daily SharePoint requests for bulk transactions in embTRUST and train on bulk data operations
- Develop client-specific features and maintain system configurations within embTRUST
- Monitor automated workflows in embTRUST and troubleshoot job failures, collaborating with vendors to resolve issues
- Manage system user group role permissions and coordinate with IT for user group propagation
- Conduct monthly release testing and annual disaster recovery testing for embTRUST SaaS version releases
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows XP, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access
- Understanding of database concepts and systems analyst experience
- Ability to read/write basic SQL statements and write business requirements
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with strong presentation abilities
- Advanced organizational and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills with experience in process improvement and change implementation
- Ability to identify and resolve urgent issues and build rapport with stakeholders
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of emBTRUST and Chase Servicing process
- Proficiency in intelligent solution applications (Alteryx, TOAD, SQL Studio, Tableau, PowerBI, etc)
- Highly organized and control-minded
- Detailed knowledge of custodial processes and investor/regulatory guidelines
Final Job Grade and officer title will be determined at time of offer and may differ from this posting.
