Client Account Services (CAS) Change and strategy team is a Global team serving account and SSI reference data needs across our Commercial and Investment Banking businesses. Our team is specifically responsible to design and implement strategic reference data solution across Securities services.
As a Product Owner within the Global Product Owners Team, you will lead Account and Standing Settlement Instructions (SSI) reference data transformation initiatives. Your responsibilities will include the complete delivery of projects, from inception to production deployment. You will build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular project updates. Collaboration with Product, Technology, and Operations partners will be essential for coherent design solutions. You will document user stories and acceptance criteria, and participate in agile ceremonies with the POD lead and Scrum Master. Your role will involve identifying and managing problems, risks, and dependencies in line with Agile principles. You will manage the product backlog, ensuring timely prioritization of user stories. Ensuring project delivery meets data quality, risk, and control standards will be part of your role. You will coordinate release plans, ensuring UAT completion, training delivery, sign-off collection, and documentation of release notes. Lastly, you will monitor the success of deliverables and seek opportunities for process improvement.

Job responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end delivery of projects , from inception through to production deployment

- Collaborate with other Product, Technology, Product owners, and Operations partners to ensure coherent design solutions
- Document user stories and acceptance criteria for your feature team
- Participate in agile ceremonies in partnership with the POD lead and Scrum Master (e.g., sprint retrospectives, sprint reviews, sprint planning, daily scrums
- Identify problems, risks, dependencies and being able to deal with them as per Agile principles.
- Provide regular project updates tailored to the target audience
- Effectively manage the product backlog ensuring timely prioritization of user stories
- Ensure project delivery adheres to data quality, risk and control standards
- Coordinate release plans, ensuring UAT is complete, training delivered, sign off gathered and release notes documented.
- Monitor the success of deliverables and demonstrating the value of the work delivered and seek opportunities to drive process improvement
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years' experience in product development/Change management experience
- Working knowledge of Agile methodology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to identify root causes of problems and to evaluate information with sound judgement, attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships
- Able to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in reference data domain
- Apply strategic foresight while implementing change solutions
