As a Vice President within the Data Strategy Team, you are part of the CCOR data owner organization, you will play a pivotal role in executing data strategies that drive business operations and strategic objectives. Data Owners serve as subject matter experts, coordinating between providers and consumers to ensure business data is understood, fit for purpose, and well governed. By leading efforts to mitigate data risks and enhance data quality, you will ensure data serves as a trusted asset for decision-making and innovation. Your leadership will foster a data-driven culture that supports organizational growth and competitive advantage. You will be working closely with CCOR Business leaders, CCOR ML, Analytics & Dashboarding teams, CCOR CDO and CCOR technology partners to determine appropriate strategies to manage and leverage CCOR data to drive innovation. Also oversee delivery of a central data platform which is critical part of CCOR data strategy to enable the innovation agenda using AI/ML, advanced analytics & automation.

Job Responsibilities
- Implement strategic plans to deliver data solutions that effectively support business operations and strategic objectives, to align with organizational goals
- Provide Data product ownership for one or more CCOR data product lines for implementation of CCOR Data Lake, including functional requirements capture, test planning and oversight, prioritization of work, and working with technology partners throughout development to ensure clear understanding of requirements and quality of delivery.
- Manage the execution of projects and related milestones, understand and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies throughout the project / initiative
- Collaborate with key partners to ensure that critical data is well-documented as to its meaning and purpose, and classified accordingly with metadata to enable its understanding and control
- Develop and oversee processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks throughout the data lifecycle, addressing issues related to data protection, retention, storage, use, and quality
- Partner with CDO & technology teams to design & develop tools & processes for effective data management
- Develop prototypes for data visualization, data analytics & automation in partnership with other CCOR Digital teams & product owners
- Communicate and resolve data issues in a timely and consistent manner, maintaining data integrity and consumer trust
- Manage and guide direct or matrixed staff in executing data-related tasks and initiatives
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, OR equivalent professional experience in data management, data governance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data management, data governance, risk management/analytics, or a related field
- Proven leadership track record, demonstrated ability to manage delivery timelines, and ensure the organization is on track to meet goals
- In-depth understanding of data management principles, governance frameworks, and lifecycle management, including data protection, data quality and data classification
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, translating complex data concepts into business strategies
- Strong communication skills, effectively conveying data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as senior audiences
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and manage large-scale data projects
- Experience working on large scale data lake / data-warehousing projects
- Hands on SQL writing knowledge is required.
- knowledge of data and process modeling techniques is required
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Experience with Tableau, QlikView, Thoughtspot or other reporting and analytics tools is preferred
- Knowledge of with AI/ML techniques is advantageous.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a strong plus.
