Cards Data Owner Senior Associate

As a Data Owner within the Credit Card Business, you will play a pivotal role in executing data strategies that drive business operations and strategic objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, protection, integration, and utilization across the organization, fostering a data-driven culture that supports organizational growth.

Job responsibilities

  • Execute a strategy for the development and delivery of product data to support strategic business objectives, business operations, advanced analytics, and metrics and reporting.
  • Drive a strong understanding of the data and its use within the Credit Card business and across lines of business and functions, through collaborative partnerships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Identify and prioritize the scope of critical data within their product, ensuring that the prioritized data is well-documented and classified accordingly with metadata.
  • Partner with the aligned Data & Analytics lead for their product to drive advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives.
  • Establish expectations for the required accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data within the product.
  • Prioritize resources to resolve identified data issues in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Direct the development of processes and procedures to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks for data in the product.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on data management concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
  • Hands-on practical experience in data strategy execution and governance.
  • Proficient in data quality management and risk mitigation.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of data protection, retention, and destruction processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data integration and utilization within a business context.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Familiarity with modern data analytics technologies.
  • Exposure to machine learning and AI initiatives.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with data delivery partners.
  • Understanding of governance and KPI tracking in data management.
