The Corporate Technology Resiliency team is dedicated to supporting business and technology stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment with internal and external expectations, enhancing resiliency standards, and maintaining regulatory compliance. By proactively preparing the organization, the team ensures that key business functions, processes, and systems remain operational during disruptive scenarios. As the Business Resiliency Lead, you will spearhead transformative projects to elevate Corporate Technology's resilience capabilities in line with firmwide directives. You will collaborate on our resiliency strategy, fostering continuous improvement of the Resiliency Operating Framework to meet firmwide and regulatory obligations. Your leadership will ensure engagements are effective and on track, meeting the heightened expectations of the firm and external parties.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of the resiliency operating model framework, providing domain expertise to Corporate Technology stakeholders. Ensure all resiliency-related compliance objectives are met on time, coordinating efforts across functional reports.
  • Manage risk and performance measures to continuously validate and assess the effectiveness of resiliency controls. Incorporate findings into comprehensive reporting and escalation processes, leveraging insights from functional reports.
  • Lead the validation, maintenance, and (re)certification of recovery plans and strategies with varying degrees of complexity, guiding functional reports in execution.
  • Lead the Data Center resiliency testing program, work transfer, and crisis simulation exercises, coordinating activities across functional reports to ensure thorough testing and preparedness.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of internal teams to build interdependency mapping that aligns technology recovery with business impact requirements. Develop plans, define processes, and support the development and implementation of a comprehensive resiliency strategy to mitigate the impact of disruptive events, with input from functional reports.
  • Manage crisis management events to ensure appropriate communication and management for leadership awareness. Participate in post-incident response, planning, and root cause analysis to quickly learn from disruptions and establish action items for resiliency gap remediation, working closely with functional reports.
  • Develop and maintain compliance reporting and dashboarding to provide clear visibility into resiliency metrics and objectives. Ensure timely and accurate communication to stakeholders and leadership, utilizing data from functional reports. Support regulatory exams, audits, and 2nd Line compliance initiatives, ensuring functional reports are aligned with compliance requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
  • Strong experience in resiliency, program management, or risk and controls governance, demonstrating a deep understanding of these areas, at least eight year + years of experience
  • Proficient knowledge of core infrastructure technologies and experience with cloud provider products and services, enabling effective management of technology-related resiliency initiatives.
  • Demonstrated domain expertise in program management, complemented by strong data analytics skills and proven experience in building and implementing processes across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership, lead cross-functional discussions at multiple organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Expert in managing relationships, partnering with stakeholders, and resolving conflicts to deliver solutions that meet business needs. Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change, with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues and implementing practical solutions.
  • Proven excellence in high-pressure environments, with demonstrated leadership in crisis management, task prioritization, and sound decision-making.

  • Work experience in financial services industry
  • Proficient in enterprise IT governance framework
  • AWS Certified Practitioner
  • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
