As a Business Information Research Analyst in the GCFO team, you will work with market data sources to acquire, retrieve, and organize publicly available information on companies, markets, industries, economies, investment vehicles, or individuals. You will engage directly with bankers, providing timely and accurate insights, and collaborate with colleagues globally to enhance client service. This role offers the opportunity to drive process improvements and explore career alternatives within the group.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer inquiries from bankers in a timely, accurate, and value-added manner.
  • Engage directly with bankers and partner with colleagues to provide high-quality client service.
  • Build team relationships both locally and globally, collaborating on projects as required.
  • Assist in evaluating and identifying opportunities to drive process improvements.
  • Utilize learning and development opportunities to grow knowledge and skills.
  • Demonstrate superior knowledge in selecting the most appropriate sources.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Think creatively and critically to deliver targeted results.
  • Thrive in a fast-moving environment and prioritize urgency.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar environment.
  • Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline.
  • Proficient in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrate ability to think creatively and critically.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Additional European language skills.
  • General understanding of the financial sector and investment banking industry.
  • Database search experience with tools like LSEG Workspace/Eikon, S&P/CapIQ, Factiva, Dealogic, Profound, or similar.
  • Passion for growing knowledge and insight.
  • Experience in driving process improvements.
