As an ESG Data and Reporting Business Analyst Lead in India, you will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering set goals for our firm. You will collaborate across organizational boundaries to deliver long-term strategic data reporting technology infrastructure. Your responsibilities include working with end-users to understand their requirements, leveraging your expertise to devise end-to-end data flows and processes, and building technology capabilities for reporting official JPMorgan ESG metrics.

Our focus is on driving strategic initiatives, managing tactical solutions delivery, building high-standard documentation, tracking progress, testing, and ensuring timely delivery and adoption by the business. Join the team that is designing, delivering, and driving the adoption of ESG data system infrastructure for climate reports, regulatory disclosures, and providing business insights.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with data owners, reporting teams, and technology teams to agree on solution design details that deliver specifications, and author testing and acceptance criteria for successful delivery.
- Support the development of data governance capabilities such as metadata and information architecture.
- Assess, develop, and document requirements both holistically and at an individual level, and own the specifications of the output.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business insight requirements and collaborate with other delivery team members and technology on data and reporting processes.
- Author adoption plans with input and sign-off from adoptees.
- Operate within an agile-at-scale delivery structure and a nimble but robust delivery mechanism, reflecting agile principles and delivery best practices.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Ability to map current and proposed process and data flows into stories, use cases and specifications with examples focusing on the minimum viable product
- Experience in conceptualizing, designing and delivering reporting solutions to be successfully adopted into functional BAU settings
- Experience in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to business including highlighting key issues and help them in their decision making process
- Analytical with problem-solving mindset, self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence
- Demonstrate strong written and oral executive-level communications skills, including ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to differing audiences
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to deliver amidst continuous change and in an agile work environment
- Inclusive leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across different groups and regions
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Information Systems with 10+ years of experience in financial services industry
- Working knowledge on Alteryx, Tableau, Robotic Automation Platforms (RPA) such as UiPath, cloud computing solutions such as AWS, etc. would be an added advantage
- Knowledge and experience of Financial Control and data assurance in a Financial Statements context
- Experience working with ESG Data or its component parts will be an added advantage
