As a Business Analyst within the global IMOS team, you will manage the end-to-end Business Deliveries. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional IMOS POTL Teams, leverage advanced technology, and deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. The IBOR provides a single, accurate investment portfolio for investment activities and supports multiple dynamic views of positions for front-office functions. You will lead strategy and backlog management, partnering with various Asset Classes Product Owner/Development Groups to modernize our platform and achieve key milestones.

Job responsibilities
- Serves as the primary contact and subject matter expert within the Global/Regional IMOS team, cultivating strong relationships with clients and internal partners to enhance interactions and service delivery.
- Collaborates with IMOS Product Development, technology teams, and product managers to advance cross-business product strategy and vision.
- Manages and refine sproduct backlogs, roadmaps, and business models to align with IMOS deliverables and stakeholder priorities.
- Conducts requirement analysis, create initiatives and epics, and manage Jira tasks to support business and technical needs.
- Maintains key stakeholder relationships and communications to ensure alignment and secure commitments for dependencies.
- Validates features to address client and user needs, working closely with technology, design, and analytics teams.
- Works cross-functionally with technology, service, product, and operations teams to manage IBOR product deliverables.
- Leads the Business / Client Requirements space and execution of strategic and tactical IMOS Business Milestones/Deliverables, focusing on change initiatives, shareholder value, and client satisfaction.
- Fosters collaborative partnerships with stakeholders across Global Operations, Development, User Acceptance, and Product Teams to ensure seamless product development aligned with project milestones.
- Oversees software deployment and migration, providing client support during Production Parallel and Go-Live stages, and promptly addressing functional issues.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong understanding of derivatives, including OTCs, CFDs, equities, FX, ETDs, and other asset classes such as bank loans, fixed income, money markets, repos, and asset servicing.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities to address operational and technical issues.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to work efficiently across various geographies and time zones.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior business executives.
- Advanced understanding of the product development lifecycle, including its stages, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Expertise in writing and interpreting complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Familiarity with database design, indexing, and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization, with the ability to derive insights and create visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Proficiency in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) or ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes for data integration and preparation.
- Competence in data modeling, with the ability to design and implement data structures that align with business requirements.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in product development within the securities, financial services, or asset management sectors, involving a range of asset classes and markets.
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and message brokering, with an understanding of Kafka topics, partitions, producers, consumers, and stream processing being advantageous.
- Experience in investment operations, including trade execution, position management, valuation, cash management, reporting, and reconciliations.
