Business Analysis Manager- Bond Administration

As a Business Analysis Manager- Bond Administration in Investor Reporting, you will be a key player in driving strategic initiatives and operational improvements and will involve leveraging your deep understanding of business analysis principles and data analytics expertise to uncover patterns, identify trends, and generate innovative solutions. You will be responsible for the administration of mortgage-backed securities, including contract administration, complex waterfall and bond distribution calculations, quantitative analysis and management reporting, quality assurance and quality control, and timely and accurate reporting/remitting to relevant third parties. You'll also create procedural guidance and maintain credit servicing documentation throughout the life of security asset deal and prioritize, resolve, and/or communicate asset security issues as they arise with all interested parties.
Job responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of business strategies by leveraging deep knowledge of business analysis principles and data analytics expertise, ensuring alignment with operational policies and precedents.
- Manage a diverse team of professionals, delegating tasks effectively, fostering an inclusive environment, and coaching team members to achieve their full potential.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to implement automation initiatives and optimize processes, utilizing advanced computer literacy and digital proficiency.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of complex data sets to uncover patterns, identify trends, and generate innovative solutions that have a wide-ranging impact throughout the function.
- Oversee the production of reports and communications in support of operational or change initiatives, ensuring the quality and professionalism of service delivery within the area of responsibility.
- Review and verify financial models monthly to facilitate the accurate and timely submission of investor distribution reports and funds transfers to investors and trusts
- Establish and enforce quality assurance guidelines and processes to further substantiate the accuracy of the distribution reports, maintain department objectives and annual audit requirements
- Reconcile custodial accounts, prepare necessary journal/ledger entries, create, and validate system adjustments, and process timely wire payments to ensure proper accounting in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with internal/external parties to resolve transaction issues and questions related to deal structure, collateral data, bond payments and other deal and/or payment questions
- Provide monthly reports to management detailing the monthly activity, enumerating issues and potential resolutions, and validate current risk control procedures to be effective.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting business analysis, with a focus on data collection, integrity, utilization, requirements, and analysis, showcasing skills equivalent to 5+ years of experience.
- Proven track record in managing diverse teams, with an emphasis on delegation, coaching, and fostering cross-functional collaboration and quality service to customers through continuous communication.
- Advanced proficiency in computer literacy and digital proficiency such as PC applications, including MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a demonstrated ability to effectively use technology to optimize processes and enhance customer service.
- Expertise in data analytics, with a history of developing and interpreting models to offer continuous insight, drive operational improvements, root cause analysis and problem solving
- Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking, with a focus on using data to evaluate potential scenarios, assess risks, and collaborate on strategy development.
- Understand software delivery Lifecycle and have skills in industry standard methodologies and related tasks with specific knowledge of the policies, procedures and systems pertaining to servicing/default, operations and proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques
- 5+ years in investor reporting with advanced knowledge of scheduled/schedule loans
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Capability to leverage artificial intelligence and AI tools to enhance data analysis, uncover business trends, and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency in implementing automation solutions to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency and competence in technology/process release management, with proficiency in using software applications, digital platforms, and other technological tools to solve problems and improve processes
- Proactively perform ado research and analysis projects detailing resultant effect on transactions and provide detailed reports describing root cause and available options if necessary.
- Develop and/or maintain financial production models for mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities transactions. This includes the ability to translate legal offering documents to complex financial calculations including senior/sub, over-collateralization, cross-collateralization, and loss allocation.
- Support key stakeholders by participating in discussions with both internal and external audit partners and by providing all available information requested during annual audit.
- Manage new and existing third-party relationships including contract negotiations, pricing terms, responsibilities of third party, payment processing, disaster recovery, exit plan strategies and complete disengagement.
- Assess third party performance and provide metrics to management including remediation plans for any deficient performance if identified and communicate complex financial concepts and calculations to management or internal/external parties clearly
