Branch Operation - Senior Product Associate

As a Senior Product Associate within the Tablet Experience & Serving team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end Tablet Experience. As a key contributor, you are responsible for understanding customer needs and developing products that deliver hospitality and value. Using your expertise in product development, you support the successful launch of products, gather essential feedback, and contribute to exceptional client experiences. With a focus on scalability, resiliency, and stability, you work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet and exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
- Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
- Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
- Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
- Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
- Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
- Demonstrates foundational product and customer knowledge to drive allocation of high-value requirements for delivery
- Serves as a subject matter expert in supported features, articulating business and user needs, and collaborates with PO/APO to understand project scope and priorities
- Utilizes Agile backlog management tools (JIRA, Confluence) to create detailed user stories and partners with team members to document and refine product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Coordinates with scrum team and technical leads to prioritize scope, objectives, and constraints for development sprints, and assists in troubleshooting problems, developing support materials, and working issues to resolution
- Supports QA and testing activities, clarifying acceptance criteria and use cases as needed

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Foundational knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Foundational knowledge of JIRA and confluence tools
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Proven numerical, analytical, and strategic problem-solving skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Associate or bachelor's degree
- Previous Product management and/or Branch experience
