Job Summary
As an Associate within the Employee Experience team, you will collaborate with both designers and technologists to create accessible employee facing products. Your knowledge about HTML code, testing with assistive tech and good inclusive design principles will serve you well in this role. Your quest to embrace leading-edge inclusive technologies and methodologies inspires the product teams you serve to follow suit. - Identifying, documenting and suggesting potential solutions for accessibility barriers based on WCAG 2.1 standards as well as compliance with other accessibility related laws
- Applying accessibility knowledge to a wide range of the firm's digital properties, including native mobile applications, and digital documents
- Collaborating with Software Engineers and UX designers in one on one or small group environments
- Assist Senior Accessibility Engineers with training Software Engineers and UX designers
- Performing impact analysis and risk evaluation from user's point of view.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Practical experience testing for WCAG conformance using screen readers, magnifiers and other assistive tech tools
- Ability to analyze code for accessibility issues in HTML5/CSS3
- Word, PowerPoint, and other document standards
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- PDF/UA and other document standards
- Mobile accessibility on Android and IOS
- Automation using cypress, Selenium and/or playwright
