Associate Data Analytics & Reporting - Private Equity Group

As an Associate within our Private Equity Group, you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives, and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain client materials, including portfolio reviews and performance analytics.
  • Improve benchmarking and respond to ad-hoc data requests for clients and prospects.
  • Build and update analytical models and Excel templates for commitment modeling and cash flow projections.
  • Liaise with information management colleagues, client service managers, and technology teams to streamline and automate reporting.
  • Reconcile transaction activity between custodian and Private i reports.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies across reports and systems.
  • Respond promptly to client and portfolio manager information requests.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports in agreement with client requirements.
  • Disseminate reports to appropriate internal and external parties.
  • Liaise with custodians to ensure accurate reconciliation of monthly and quarterly activity.
  • Evaluate investment performance and identify efficiencies in business processes to support growth.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • At least 4 years of experience in private equity, finance, information management, data analytics
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, spreadsheet, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and financial modeling aptitude.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and ad-hoc requests in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Quick learner with the ability to execute new tasks in real-time.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and independently when needed.
  • Strong client focus.
